I took the Dat for the 1st time, and this is the breakdown
AA 20
PAT 19
Bio 22
GCHem 23
OChem 22
Total Science 22
RC 17 😕(I always score 20 or higher on my practice exams)
QR 17
GPA 3.72
Science GPA 3.74
I'm really disappointed about the RC score. Do i have to retake the Dat to improve my RC AND QR, and what are my chances of getting to Dental school
next year?( I want to get into Case Western, University of Michigan, or Marquette)

your chances are really high depending on the rest of your application. i'm not sure on the particular schools you're interested in, but i do know that nationally your scores are above par.

no way...

your scores are great. yes, 17 in rc and qr are average... but just that... average.

your TS is way, way up there... and your PAT is fantastic.

be proud, very proud.

only retake if you are sub 3.1 or 3.2.

Great scores and GPA abe, only retake if you feel like you can score as high in all the other sections...if you have any volunteering/shadowing/comm. service/reasearch/etc you should be set to go!

If you retake the exam, I would suggest seeing a psychiatrist as well.

Yeah... you should definitely go ahead and retake it. Shoot for 25+ across all sections of the DAT!

Retake it - This is going to be a tough cycle - your GPA is OK - but Your DAT can be improved a little - ESPECIALLY QR and RC.

Check out avg admitted scores for the schools you want to apply to, but I'm sure your scores are on par for case and marquette, maybe u of mich. your GPA is harvard solid. take a deep breath and apply early (now).
