Do I have to TAke Board 2 before?

I would like to ask for the ones that was accepted in somewhere. Do you think that is a godd idea to take the board before we have started the program or it is gonna be better to take in the end? I am wondering wich option is the best.
If I take now and pass would be a good thing not to worry about that anymore. If I leave to take it after I can get a better grade.
Give me advicesssss!!!!

my advice would be to take the part 2 boards if you have some spare time to prepare for the exam........you dont want to go through so much stuff at school and still worry abt studying for the boards....besides if u give the exam before, u will have more choices of schools to apply to....

That is the point! I already was accepted. I have 2 months to study, but I wonder if I take part 2 after the program I can get better grade.

if you are already accepted it doesnt matter if u get a better grade or not.....it is just a requirement to pass and nothing else.....if u plan to enter a post-graduate program after completing DDS then you need to study for it seriously and get a good score......u should consider this before deciding anything......and i think 2 months is too less a time to get by part 2 material unless u study round the clock....

I would recommend you to take part - 2 or any board exam after your college because you will learn lot of new things.... your memory and your past education will get refresh and updated. Also during your college years you will give lot of class tests and by the time you will start preparing for your boards... you will get use to the questions which are generally asked in boards.... Moreover there are better chances to get good grades when you give boards after college which will further help you in Job search in this competetive country.

What do you guys thimk about the pass/fail process after 2012? if a pass now with a low score do you think that it can interfer in the selection process to pos-graduation? I am not sure if the ADA will show our grade or not.

From what I heard,you will retain your score if you take it in 2011.
