I currently have a 3.7 now at a 4 year.... junior year.

I spent one year at CC..

During the the one year at the CC i had a 4.0 GPA with 5 Ws.

Will this be acceptable for Medical Schools as long as I keep my GPA up?

There was just a thread about this on the first page, but 5 W's in 1 year, most likely on a semester system, seems excessive. Surely you had good reasons?

4.0 and 5 Ws...so is that 4.0 comprised of 4 classes? I guess I'm not sure how many course you can complete in a year after you withdrew from 5 classes. Anyway, it depends on your explanation. If you have 5 Ws because you withdrew from an entire semester because of some big issue then it's probably fine. If you chickened out of every hard class to keep the 4.0 then you should find a way to explain it so that you don't come off that transparent.

If it was only during your first year, I can't imagine it would be a problem at all. If you consistently have a track record of biting off more than you can chew with classes it looks bad, but if you just had some trouble adjusting to college your first year then I can't imagine it being an issue.
