Do I list it as "Foundations of Modern Biol I" or finish the title??

My intro to biology class is listen on my transcript and my school website as "Foundations of Modern Biol I," which obviously stands for Foundations of Modern Biology I

I heard that I should enter the class exactly how it appears on my transcript. But this doesn't seem to be the intended name of the class...

So which is it??

did you read amcas instruction book or the helpful "help" section

i had the same "problem," and i just put the full name of the class (even though anyone could figure it out). you can always write out the full name.

Think about it this way: a human is verifying your transcript. Line by line, letter by letter. Make it easy for them. List it exactly as it is on the transcript. They will be happy. You will be happy because then you won't be "under review" forever. Just follow the rules.

...clearly not. And neither did the third poster.

You list it exactly as it appears on your transcript, abbreviations, typos, and whatever else included.
actually mon frer you might want to check it again yourself

Ah, thank you. I gave the manual a look

One important thing I learned was that I have to include "and Lab" beind the name of each of my classes that included labs~~

I thought that hitting that circle indicating that lab is included was enough, but I guess not. Time to go through my classes~~~
>_<

Oh holy s**t !! I did not notice this "and lab" thing in AMCAS instruction, and I have submitted !! >__<
Really want to beat up someone at AAMC! First they say put it exactly as in transcript, then somewhere in instruction, without bold font, says you need to add something to transcript's title! AAAHHH!!
What can I do now? Expect "under review" until September?

I've no idea, I think it's a mistake many if not most people make
Hence, I think it's there more for convenience than requirement (although this is completely a guess cause I am clueless)

BTW, does anyone know how to label Performance classes?
For example, I took chorus for my music minor (it is listed as performance class)
Should I list it under lecture or Lab??

I listed my dance classes as lab. My school indicates them as lab, plus it differentiates them from the theory/history/etc classes in the department that are lecture based.

That is actually an interesting question.

I guess....how many units was it? Lecture classes are generally 1 unit per hour. Labs are generally 1 unit per 3 hours. So what was the unit breakdown?

It was one credit per three hours (a week) so I guess it is a lab??

thanks a million!!

I just entered my courses according to their full name in my undergraduate catalog and checked the appropriate bubble for lab or lecture or combined. Has anyone who did the same thing been verified yet without delay?

I put the full name, submitted early morning June 10th (it was actually June 9th but im out in CA, so it was June 10th in the Eastern time zone) and got verified yesterday. Didnt seem to delay me at all

Thanks! Now I feel much better and can have a good sleep.
