Do i need to be done with all my prereqs by the time i apply?

Can i wait to take classes like biochem and physics later? After application was submitteD?

1. How did you take the MCAT without taking physics?
2. If you indeed managed to take the MCAT without physics, then it doesn't matter. Most schools require you have them done before you start medical school classes.

yup. Before matriculation is fine.

Haven't done E&M yet and I'm pulling 14-15 on diagnostics 🙂 It's usually a 14 if there is any E&M on there though lol

Ya i just have one quarter of physics left...and that is E&M. I am hoping the MCAT prep class will teach me that though.

This is kinda related but I took AP Physics and placed out of mechanics but took E & M in college-- Do med schools that require a full year of physics not accept AP credit if its for the first semester only? Basically do I have to take physics I in order to matriculate?

I think it depends on the school. Best bet is to call them up and check.

I applied without any biology and orgo lab this last cycle and got in. Some say it makes your application weaker, but I doubt that is true.

be careful though...don't leave it until the summer before you matriculate, because many schools require the prereqs to be done by the spring before matriculation
