In adversity essays I could talk about my time growing in Lebanon during the 2006 war. I escaped with family and have lived through 3 countries since. But since the war was with Israel, idk if it can be viewed as too political, especially right now.

That really was the biggest adversity in my life, but I could also just talk about my time caring for a sick parent during college ?

Even the Adcoms at Einsien, the Touros, LUCOM, and Loma Linda wouldn't care.

My own school has plenty of students who are either immigrants from Arrow countries, or first generation Americans born of Arab parents, so don't worry about this.
