I took the aug mcat and am waiting for my scores to come out (rumor has it early next week). By that time, i will probably finished all my secondaries and have them sent out already. So I was thinking...if i don't wanna find out my mcat scores...i don't have to. knowing my scores or not...i will be waiting for possible interviews. am i right?

Whatever floats your boat. The scores are automatically released to AMCAS.

Don't be ridiculous. You actually think you are going to have the will power to never check your scores? You are going to want to know what you got when you get to an interview so I don't know why you would bother waiting to find out. Get with the program buddy.

I'm not being ridiculous. I took the mcat 3x, applied 2x, so I know how discouraging it could be when I get a low score or a rejection letter. Last time I applied with a 27 MCAT, I only got one interview. i am applying to 40 schools this time and I have put everything into this process financially, physically and emotionally. I am afraid to see that aug mcat. I think I did worse on the aug mcat.

hehe, i've been asked at interviews (closed file) what my mcat score is. the interviewer probably wouldn't think too highly of you if you said "um....i actually don't know my mcat score."

wow--forty schools? thats amazing. i feel for you though, man; applying to 40 different schools sounds extremely taxing.

good luck! and check your mcat score as soon as it comes out. i mean, you gotta know what you got!

i respect people like you. it makes me feel guilty when i complain about having to fill out all these secondaries and all the money it has cost me, cause you have put WAY more into this process than i have.

again, good luck!
