Do I need to retake Microbiology?

I have a B.S. and I'm currently doing a post-bacc. I realized that a lot of schools are now requiring Microbio as a pre-req. Fortunately, I did take it during my undergrad but it was just a very hard class for me. I recieved a C+ in both Lecture and Lab (4 Cr. total). The rest of my Bio classes are fine (As and Bs). Should I retake this? I really don't want to because I still need more important classes (Orgo 1&2, Biochem, Physics 2) but will retake it if I have to.

If your #1 choice school requires this course, then I would consider retaking it. A lot of school don't require this course though, so I wouldn't worry about it. It would probably only come in interviews in the "why did you receive this grade" question.

Do you believe in yourself? If yes, DO IT!

The only school on my list that required Microbiology was Nova. At my school, microbio was Hard. I ploughed through it and made off with an A. Now Nova is one of the schools I'll be interviewing at.

If you think you can improve on that C+ (i.e. get a B+ or better), take it.
