So I took the DAT this past August and I am applying this coming June.

Here were my scores
Bio 19
Gchem 21
Ochem 19
PAT 21
RC 20
QR 18
TS 19 (weird I dont know why its not 20)
AA 19

By the end of this year my grades will be around...
SGPA 3.4
Overall 3.7

I will be and out of state applicant everywhere I apply so I think my stats need to be a little above average at each school. I am concerned SGPA to get in is rising and mine is not that good so I need the DAT to make up for it. I do go to a solid school but I don't think that factors in much in the decision making.

Should I take it again? would a 20 look that much better than a 19?

let me know what you think. thanks

Your TS score is a 19 because TS isn't the average of Bio, GC, and OC. Rather, it is a score assigned based on the total number of questions you got right in the science section. Bio influences TS the most since there is 40 Bio questions. I think your DAT scores are okay given your GPA but if you feel like you can score much better, go for it

Great job on your DAT 👍 As said above Bio weighs more than chem and ochem thus you end up with a 19.

With your GPA I would not see any reason why you need to retake. Only if you aspire to get into a specific school that has a DAT average a lot higher than 19 (UCLA, harvard, etc...). Otherwise, you did awesome and have well rounded scores.

I would not retake... your GPA + DAT are very nice combo.
I would however, apply to 12 (or more) schools.
