Do I need to send a USMLE transcript to ERAS, or do they already have it? It seems all I have to do is authorize release in ERAS, correct?

Correct. They will get your information directly from the USMLE.

Maybe OP just took Step 2 and is meaning to update scores?

Otherwise can’t see how this app isn’t dead in the water….

Ah yes. If you have a new score, then you just authorize a release. And it's free!
