As in topic.. usually have some close stubble. I'm taking it on Friday morning in Chicago.

The line between looking professional and homeless is usually not hard to find. Don't look like you just rolled out of bed after staying up for 3 days on a meth binge. Can you carry a beard? Many people cannot and just look unkempt.

Never had an issue while working in the ED with some close stubble (not a beard).. i guess better safe than sorry
