Do I need to update schools where I completed a secondary that I submitted a new LOR?

I realize I am probably being way too neurotic, but I just wanted to check.

I just submitted a new LOR through AMCAS to a lot of my schools where I had completed their secondary, and on many of their portals, it shows that the letter was received. Does that mean that the letter has been added to my application, or just that it was received by whatever system? Do I need to email/call the schools and ask them to put it in my file?

1) was the letter previously assigned to the school prior to the secondary being submitted? if so, the school already knows about it
2) The schools will be notified of the new letter in the system by AMCAS
3) if the school had marked your application complete, sending an email may get them to add it to the file
4) at many schools, once an application is complete, it is sent as a "static file" and a new letter may not be added
For many of the schools, I did not add the letter to the school on AMCAS until just now, which was after the secondary was marked as complete. On many of their portals, it shows that the letter was received, even when the secondary was complete. Is it worth emailing these schools to confirm that it was added to my file and not just received by the system?
