Do I retake my Ochem 2? I don't like how that C+ looks and I think I can improve it but I can't see it going much higher than a B or B+ on a retake. I'm currently a sophomore, Sociology major. Retaking Ochem 2 will really mess with my schedule but I'm interested in doing whatever is best to get into Dental School.

Also, I'll be taking the DAT at the end of this summer.

Edit: Current oGPA - 3.56, Current sGPA - ~3.33

I wouldn't retake. Just have great EC's, keep up your GPA, and do well on the DAT. Use Chad's Videos and Destroyer for Orgo and you should get a solid score!

I agree with the above posts.

You should only retake if youre sure you could get an A. So dont take it again. Do especially well on the orgo section of the DAT and that well help balance out your class grade. Just an fyi the orgo questions on the DAT are for the most part pretty basic, itll be much easier than the exams you had for the class. But you still have to know the info very well to get a high score for that section, so be prepared.
