Some advice needed. Thanks in advance.
Im a fourth year DO student and I plan to apply to both advanced and categorical allopathic anesthesia programs. I plan to scramble for an osteopathic internship after the allopathic match so as not to disqualify myself from categorical programs. Im already registered with the AOAs National Matching Services. I want to know if I should go through the internship application and interview process through ERAS, and let them know about my plan to scramble during the interview, or should I just bypass the initial application, and go straight for the scramble post allo-match. How does it usually work?
