Is it possible?

I've managed to do quite a few other medical procedures on myself. And I have more confidence in myself than in the perio who has a tremor.

I'd be impressed if you could, but it's a relatively small and hard space to get light. If you could really root plane a posterior tooth with a 5+ mm pocket adequately, that would be fun to see...of course, studies seem to show only 50% of people can instrument such a pocket adequately anyway, so even if you failed, you'd still be only a coin flip away from the difference.
