Do large HMO residencies (Kaiser and Scripps)like to heir their own residents?

I am just wondering if graduates from these residencies tend to get first dibs on the jobs offered by the HMO's.

My intuition would tell me yes, but the residents could also just be another external applicant as well.

I would assume so, as they're probably more familiar with the internal system
