I was wondering if LOIs really make a difference? I could use some help :oops:

Pre-interview or post-interview? Because I'm sure there's a huge difference there.
 
Some schools yes, others no. Post interview or pre?

Are you talking about interest or intent? I get the feeling that saying "I intend to matriculate if accepted" is a bit insincere since it's non-binding, but if you make a strong case then I guess the letter of intent is fair game post-interview.

But then there's the thermonuclear option, which I have deemed classified in my current application strategy.
 
1) Send a transcript of your Fall grades.
2) Send a LO(interest) talking about any updates in your application and why you are still interested in this med school. Browse through their site to get some good reasons why you like this school, how you can contribute to their mission, etc.
