DO LOR for Allopathic School

Is this frowned upon? I work as a medical scribe and site manager for a practice that is run by a bunch of DOs. They all know me very well and can strongly attest to my personality, work ethic and love for medicine. Can I send their LOR to MD schools?

This is NOT true the other way around. I had an MD letter, and DO schools would not accept it in place of a DO letter.
