more time for clubs! im gonna join so many more clubs when im MS3, and go to all the meetings

As MS4, you pretty much have enough free time for ANYTHING. The #1 goal in MS4 is to get rested enough to prepare for residency + attending life until age of 65.

clubs are awesome!!! i'm joining ob/gyn : ) even though i have no intention of ever being one!

A number of the interest groups at my school are run by M4s. As someone said above, they really have time to do whatever they want.

M3s seem to fall off the map. They disappear after end of basic sciences, and resurface again after core clerkships are done.

It's pretty accepted that 3rd years don't have much extra time to attend club meetings, but that doesn't mean you can't be a member. Join 1st/2nd year, drop off the map 3rd year, get active again 4th year and it can all go on your ERAS (which is why we join in the first place, right?)

... I thought this thread was going to be about night clubs.

Speaking as a former MS4 I would recommend going to as many clubs as possible
