My university has a pretty amazing marine science department so I am planning on taking some marine biology labs. If they are a separate department from biology, would these labs still count towards my sGPA? Thanks.

Marine bio might be considered a natural and physical science. Those don't count as BCMP.

Nope. I tried this, didn’t work.

Wanted to boost BCPM with an 8 credit marine/environmental science class. Didn’t fly on AMCAS verification lol

Wait if it's under the ECOLOGY, EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY Department it will count as BCMP! Marine Biology is under this department at least at my school and is under the umbrella of biology. @gyngyn Don't you agree?

It will depend of the specifics of the course content, I'm afraid.
