Anything after the spring of junior year.
Do they ever make acceptances conditional on an updated transcript and require you to send that in?
Do they ever rescind acceptances based on those grades?
What grades would it take for them to rescind? (we talkin C's, D's, F's?)

We get the full transcript if you are accepted. If a degree is required, and you didn't complete it, there would be a reason to rescind. Depending on the provisional acceptance contract, successful completion could mean C's or better.

If you're pre-II come December, some schools ask you to send your fall semester grades as well.

At what point? The primaries only included the transcript up to junior year. Is the full transcript part of the secondaries? When do you see it?
You have to provide full transcripts to the school's you plan to attend, or at least give deposits to. This of course is after they accept you.

So don't screw up your senior year, even if you get accepted.

The transcript I submitted with AMCAS didn't have the C that I'll be getting in one of my upper level science classes in the summer semester. Do schools see that? Would that be a reason for rejection?

Likely won't happen since I already submitted my primary for verification

Yes, it probably will. I submitted the earliest possible date last year and was still getting invitations to interview well into March. You don't have to share your grades in an update, but the school will see those grades eventually.

I don't think you realize how long this process can take.. And the answer to these questions while vary school to school. Some will want those fall semester grades pre or post II. Some will accept people without them on the condition that when they DO get those grades, they meet certain criteria (all above certain letter grade or w/e.) Plus if you have to reapply obviously everyone will immediately see those grades next cycle.

Prior to med school matriculation, when you ask your registrar to send in a final official transcript. Only the school you plan to attend requires this final transcript, which shows you graduated, left the school in good standing, completed all prerequisites, and fulfilled the school's expectations for grades as stated in the acceptance letter.

One C is unlikely to trigger a rescission of an acceptance at the vast majority of med schools.

II = interview invite, not secondary. Do you expect to have interviewed at every single one of your schools before December? It probably won't be an issue, but any school can ask to see your grades at any time or grant an acceptance provisional upon your maintenance of a certain GPA.
