Hello! I recently got accepted to a medical school and I’m very grateful as it means I will not be reapplying 🙏
I am a senior in college and might get some B+s/A-s this semester which would bring down my overall GPA - does it matter though? Will my grades this semester affect any future acceptances this cycle? Other than being part of an update letter.
The rules of what to do post-acceptance: Don’t fail something, don’t drop out of your undergrad, don’t do anything stupid (criminal, social media or otherwise)

First of all, congrats!
A B+/A- is not the end of the world. Make sure that you pass everything (this means C or better, not C-) and do not get any IA marks on your record.

To answer your question, an acceptance is an acceptance. If you don't like the medical school where you were accepted, then work harder in your classes--medical schools DO consider all courses taken, especially near the end of the cycle when they are choosing between people on the waitlist. If you do, then run with it. 'Nuff said. 🙂
