do medical schools see MCAT scores ahead of score release day?

Hi I just got a secondary from Miller University about 24 hours before my score release? Does that say anything about them seeing my MCAT scores first? Is that to say that I've done well enough for them to give me a secondary?

Someone say something to me please. Thanks.

They shouldn't be able to see them yet.. however, it sounds promising... Either way, congrats on the secondary! It'll give you something to do while you wait on score release..

This doesn't mean anything. I received all of my secondaries before taking the MCAT.Some schools give secondaries to all applicants and others actually screen their applicants before giving secondaries. Let's not forget that secondaries average around $45 a piece. Thus, this is a huge money making tactic for most schools. You should call the schools and ask what their policies are.

My premed office received my scores before I had access to them so I don't think it is impossible that medical schools have access to them.

Hey...I'm in the exact same situation. I took the Aug 9 MCAT, yet got my secondary YESTERDAY, just 24 hrs before AAMC MCAT release, from Miami Miller (who screens AMCAS...they don't send secondaries to everyone). Am I to read into this that the school has received my MCAT score before me? This is my second try at the test, and my first score was DEF not competitive...so I'm only left to wait and wonder for another hour and 1/2. Any suggestions?
