I'm looking for info on DO-MPH programs. Does anyone have any first or second-hand knowledge on the subject that they'd like to share?
Thanks

UNTHSC-TCOM has a great DO/MPH program. I enjoyed it thoroughly and learned a lot.

Muriel Marshall DO, DrPH is the program director for the dual degree program.

I know that Nova Southeastern Univ COM offers the MPH along with the DO degree. As of right now, the MPH is free. That might change in the future. Students start taking the MPH classes in their second semester of the M-1 year during the evening. It's ALOT to juggle around, but if you're dedicated, it is do-able (not without alot of pain). If you stick with the schedule, you should be able to get the MPH when you graduate with your DO degree. But, I think I heard that if you are not able to finish the MPH on time (for example, it takes many students one more year), then you have to pay for that year of MPH classes. I also know the PCOM has a joint MPH degree with Temple University. The joint degree is a five year affair.
