I understand that some PA schools would like prerequisites to be completed within a certain number of years. Is this the case for most schools? Also, what is the approximate time? Thanks in advance.

Most I have seen are 5 years for science classes.

A lot of this depends on your whole "package". If you've had a lot of clinical experience, those prereq classes can age a little bit.

I have seen some schools that quote 7 years, or that it's on a case by case basis. If someone has tremendous experience (probably using all of the theories/lessons they learned in those classes) but is 10 years out from them it can probably be waived. In other cases, not so much.
