Currently I've received interview invitations at 6 schools-- Jefferson and Georgetown are two. Nothing from my higher tier schools. DOes the fact that I have 6 interviews now mean that I'm likely to get interviews at higher tier schools but that it will just take more time to hear from them?

The higher tier schools just started sending out invites. Georgetown is a tough one to get, so you must be competitive. Just wait, relax and kick butt on your 6 interviews first. The other ones will come soon. Having 6 this early in the cycle is awesome. Good luck 👍

And you sound like a bit of a jerk. I have applied to a range of schools and was looking to hear people's thoughts on my situation. That's it. I'll revert to the kindergarten adage: if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all.

Thank you to the other responders.

Well, considering nobody here is on an adcom, it's impossible to know for sure. If you got 6 this early, you're probably good for others.

BTW, don't be so reactionary. By telling the other guy to follow something you learned in kindergarten, you're implying that he didn't learn it, which is not a nice thing to say in and of itself.

Repeat after me: crapshoot, crapshoot, crapshoot.

waiting sucks, I know 🙁

yeah, i think you should expect interviews from harvard, stanford, columbia, yale, hopkins, and cornell sometime within the next two weeks...

ok i'm just kidding, but like someone said we're not on the adcom and i think even someone in the adcom at a given school wouldn't be able to figure out the answer to your question until they're read your entire application and even then the answer depends on the particular school... just be patient and realize that you're doing very well, as many of us don't have any interviews at all at this point.

Every school is different. While high MCAT scores will get you far in general, it's impossible to predict whether you'll get an interview at an individual school. There are too many factors - geography, age, race, application reader's mood that day - so you can't make a good prediction.

OK, So what I mean to say is that, in my opinion, whether or not you realize it(and I am pretty sure you are in no way intending to do so), annoucing your concern that every single school you have applied to is not yet knocking on your door is a bit insensitive. Do realize most people on this board do not have any interviews yet and may not for several months. I dont think it is fair to ask people to spend time reading and responding to your trivial worries, their time is worth more. You sound like an exellent canidate and I wish you luck in your interviews.
