I just got a call today that I was rewarded the 3-year HPSP! What a relief after seeing how much interest my current loans have already accumulated. I was put on the alternate list way back in January. Apparently they decided to make a few more spots available. Can anybody confirm this? Have they done this in the past to suddenly add more spots? I was not that highly ranked on the alternate list either.

3.5 Sci GPA DAT 19AA. So I was bare minimum stat wise. I had some very strong letters of recommendation. Otherwise everything else was pretty average.

They need to be as current as possbile.

If you're applying to dental school and the military at the same time, then yes. That's what I did...

How do you guys apply? I'm applying this cycle, and I been trying to get ahold of an air force reccruiter about the 4 year scholarship. I submitted a form online, and they said that they would contact me, but it's been over a week and no one contacted me yet. I live in bay area California.

Look at my signature. Search for one and call them, or call another. Some are better than others so just keep calling and contacting people. Time will run out quickly if you don't get on it.
