Kaplan does NOT GET ALL THE MATERIAL YOU NEED FOR THE DAT!!!



LET ME TELL YOU WHAT YOU REALLY GET FOR YOUR MONEY (over a thousand bucks):

-no longer have a study room for DAT (even though they have rows of computers usually empty) and will not allow you to study there (a new rule!)

-don't have room to sit in the classroom (pay a thousand bucks to sit on the floor where you can't see the board?)

-don't learn material that is ACTUALLY ON THE DAT

-have problems (like enrollment SOMEHOW FALLING THROUGH even after your credit card has been billed)

-receptionists are fairly rude almost always and answer no questions but give you the national hotline (where you are put through a touch-tone and put on hold for about 30 mins or so, then talk to a representative who can't help you for another 30 mins, then get put on hold for another 30 mins. During this time you could have learned all the elimination/substitution reactions


DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON KAPLAN!

The last time i called them, they were very nice to me. Did you talk to the manager or something like that about your bad experiences with Kaplan?

I used kaplan and it worked for me. U get what you put into for all those who are considering.

took online kaplan class. Had nice instructors. Classes were ok...

come on you dont expect them to teach you the entire bio in 9 hours, chem in 9 hours orgo in 9 hours.

Anyways the online material to practice was great. I never visited kaplan center. The course btw was like 1300. But you can bargain with them to get it down to 1k other than that i never spoke with them again.

It worked for me. You need to put your time in to get results. You will not get results just by paying a 1k for a course and not putting enough effort.

i took kaplan. the online material was good, but the classes really sucked. I'd say def not worth the 1000+ dollars. use the money to buy better dat study materials
