Do NYU and Temple send out rejection letters?

I still haven't heard anything back from these two schools...but a friend of mine told me she received a rejection letter from NYU. It's already mid-March, should I assume it's too late to receive an interview from NYU? Also called Temple...the women I spoke to on the phone told me they already sent out all their rejections so if I haven't heard anything from them yet, I might still be up for an interview but last I heard, the class there is already almost full. Any ideas?

Brian Hahn, from Temple, said their last interview was in late february, and NYU just sent a letter today saying that they are finalizing your interviews for this cycle.
