Do pharmacy schools take into account how many times someone has taken the pcat? I am taking it for the first time in september. So I have one shot and im working my butt off. Do schools take into account if someone has taken it 2-3 times? Say I take it first time and get Composite of 80. Someone who took it 3 times finally got an 80. Would I have the upper hand in that selection process or would it not matter?

The PCAT is not the most important determining factor for admission. LORs, GPA, extracurriculars, and (most) importantly, the interview are also accounted for. Instead of worrying about wildly improbably counterfactuals, concentrate on improving your total application package!

OP, it depends on the school. Some schools focus on your best attempt, other schools average of your scores, etc. It's highly variable and best to contact the schools that you're interested in attending to get the official word from them.

Ohh yes i definitely know that. I'm doing everything I can to improve all areas of my application. I was just wondering about this particular section.
