Hi guys I have a question about prerequisites.

I failed a prerequisite early in my academic career but it often is listed as a prerequisite of C or C+ to pass. I now realize even if I get an A in the retake, I can only can get a C.

Do DO schools' prerequisites derive from the averaged scores, or simply that I have been able to complete the course at least once above C or C+?

Thanks!

Complete the course at least once. So if you got an F and retook and got a C, you'd be fine. And if it was a 4 credit class that'd come out to 8 credits at a 1.0, which obviously isn't great, but you'd still have the prereq out of the way
