Do programs get an updated transcript after december/before ranking?

I'll have an "incomplete" on my transcript for a few months, because I am doing a class over 2 semesters instead of 1 (common at my school for 4th years due to busy interview schedules), and the "I" is expected during this time). Never thought much about it, but now I'm worried that programs get an updated transcript before match but after december that will show the incomplete, and then rank me lower. Does this happen? Thanks.

Programs do not get an updated transcript. If it's concerning you, you can email the places you interviewed at to explain the "I," but I think you're worrying about nothing.

The only time they'll get an updated transcript is if you send them one. If your Dean's office is like most, they probably have a policy on sending updated transcripts that ranges between "H*** No we won't send an updated transcript!" and "F*** No we won't send an updated transcript!!!". So if your original transcript doesn't have it, you're fine.
