As you all konw, the new 2008 rankings are out for the health administration and public health schools.. I see that Univer of missouri has moved form #18 to #16 ( or tied for #12 wiht other schools)...Also, iI see that GWU is the same ranking it was back in 2006/07....I heard that GWU is an excellent school for health administration and public health BUT the ranking is the same, whereas Mizzou's has moved up...Do you all think that politics is involved or what? Indiana University's health adminsitration program isn't even ranked on the list....I've applied to these schools and haven't heard anything yet, so I was wondering.....If i were to be accepted to any of these schools, will their names REALLY REALLy carry alot of weight throughout the nation? I mean, can rankings really mean that much? Comments please! 😕

Hi Flindophile! 🙂

I was jsut concerned b/c I got admitted to the health services administration program at Indiana U yesterday morning. I mean, Indiana U has a medical school, health administration program, AND health informatics with the prestigious Regenstrief Institute in INdianapolis....Since the health adm is affilitated with all of these departments, I didn't understand why IU wasn't ranked on the US News Report as a top health administration program, ya' know....
