Do research and science capstone credits count towards science GPA?

I was wondering if research credit and science capstones (upper div seminars that includes discussion on research topics, ethics, and disciplines) count toward the science GPA. What about "natural science" classes? If they don't count for the science GPA, do they just count toward the regular med school GPA?

Research credits count as sGPA if they are through a science department (personal experience). Capstone seminars will as well, if it is a science seminar - not if its an ethics (or related) seminar.

Natural science does not count toward sGPA.
