Do DO med schools award scholarships to students/ do they have formal scholarship applications liked MD schools?
I've seen MDs getting full ride, but I've hardly ever read anything about DOs having the same kind of opportunity, and it's making me wonder if financial help exists beyond loans.

DO schools have very little if any scholarships from what I have seen.

There is some outside sources that have scholarships but a lot of them don’t apply to incoming first year students.

Sadly, DO schools simply don't have the endowments that MD schools do. My school is lousy at fundraising.

My school (TCOM) provides scholarships to about half of its first year class.

I do not believe this is the norm.

I believe KCU has a pretty good scholarship program going on but you need to have met the minimum GPA/MCAT requirements

No only for first year. Based on undergrad GPA and MCAT

Ya, I got a first year scholarship to KCU, so that was nice

TCOM also has a IS tuition of $12k and OOS of like $20k to begin with which I think is the cheapest of any DO.
