I am currently a senior at college in the middle of a applying to medical schools.
I have a cGPA of 3.5 and sGPA of 3.5 with a 505 MCAT and a lot of ECs like research, EMT, shadowing, volunteering, mini-med programs, and part-time work.
I have applied to both MD and DO however, MD is not looking great at this point and my DO school applications are a little late (Sept-Nov), what are my chances? Is it worth applying again next year to DO but much earlier, around May 1st when the applications open?

If some of the school selection wizards come by I bet they could help you.
And if I was in that spot I might throw an app at Idaho, but you have to know what you're getting yourself into at these new schools

with these stats you have great chance at most DO schools early next year.

Yes. Chances will be increased if you can shadow a DO, and get LOR from same.
Your stats are fine for any DO school...I'm surprised that you haven't had any love yet.

IF you are completely shut out this cycle, you should contact some Admissions deans and ask for their feedback (not advice) on your rejections.

PCOM
DMU
VCOM
Liberty
NYITCOM
CCOM
Touro-COM
Campbell

You need a better list, your stats are lowish for PCOM, Touro-COM, CCOM, and possibly NYITCOM. I would probably be a little surprised if you didn’t get at least one II out of CUSOM, Liberty, VCOM, and DMU. Long story short your list wasn’t big enough on the DO side.

You have great ECs and decent stats. I was complete in early to late November and I have received DO IIs; I bet you will, too.

I applied to Touro Nzv in January (albeit 5 years ago) and got accepted look at application deadline apply to programs with later ones.

Do your research and expand your school list. You're more likely to get on waitlists and alternate lists, as opposed to getting straight up rejected at this point in the cycle. Most classes aren't filled just yet, but it's too late to get a decent interview time to be one of the lucky ones. Apply early and keep working on your app.

Definitely! Literally submit your apps the moment the application opens up. As long as you get it in before August, im sure you'd have a chance at some of the most competitive DO schools!
