Hello!
State OH
3.6/3.5 cGPA/sGPA with a upward trend of grades, completion of post bac
MCAT 507 130/123/128/126
Have a good amount of research, volunteer and clinical work

Side Note: so I have a lot of DO shadowing, but it has been shadowing my aunt. I would shadow other people at her practice but they are all MDs. obviously I know it is not appropriate to ask her for a LOR, so would it be bad to apply DO with no DO LOR but say that I understand what I am getting myself into through my experiences. Or do I NEED to get LOR?

School List:
OU HCOM
Lake Erie in Bradanton
MSU
Midwestern in Chicago
New York Institute of Tech
Nova (Fort lauderdale)
PCOM
Rocky Vista (Denver)
College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
Touro CA

Also, I am going to be applying MD to about 20 schools so I thought DO list of 10 is good?

I think just talking about your experiences should be okay, but I would try to find another DO to shadow and get a LOR from if possible! There's a part in your primary/secondary that asks if you have any relatives that are DO's (IIRC) and you can just mention it there as well.

I think your list looks fine for any DO school (the 123 stood out to me but I think with your GPA/solid EC's but hopefully it won't matter too much?) so 10 in addition to the 20 MD schools I think would be ok!

Yeah the 123 was kind of random I have no idea how it happened, but I'm hoping that every thing else will make up for it....
I have done some research on the DO schools but not as much as I need to.... I picked ones in places of the country I would like to live/possibly practice.... I'm not too familiar with DO IS/OOS bias and how this should change my school list

This is a list I used when I was looking up which schools to apply last year (It's a bit outdated but I think it might be helpful?).. The ones on your list I'm not sure about are OU, MSU (I know OOS is expensive here though), and NYIT. The rest I think you're fine to apply to regarding IS bias (TouroCA has 80% CA but I don't think it's due to bias, I remember seeing people OOS at my interview).

The 123 idk if you'll get pre-screened or not as these school, someone else might be able to chip in their 2 cents?
