DO School (NYIT/Touro) NY?

Hello!

So I was wondering if anyone here applied/is attending/attended NYIT DO School or Touro College DO School in NY?

If so (and if you don't mind), would you please share your GPA and MCAT score.

I am going to be taking the MCAT in September and have been preparing with TBR and Examkracker books. I just want to know what score I need to even bother applying to these DO schools.

I had ~3.1 all around and a 27 and TouroNY gave me an II (didn't attend). Didn't apply to NYIT though.

someone on here got into NYIT with 3.26/3.22/25. they interviewed late too.

I know of a 2.9/3.3/35 who got into NYIT. I believe he's entering his second year

It will depend on your activities too. If you have krap EC's with a 30MCAT and 3.8, there is a good chance you could get rejected even though you have decent stats.

Im already a graduate, but I was 3.25 and 34 back in the day when I enrolled in Touro.

The Touro-NY Class of 2017, not including internal masters students that moved to the DO program, had an average MCAT of ~30. I'm not sure about GPA.

Evidently, the MCAT at Touro has been steadily climbing - likely due to the prime location of being in Manhattan amongst other factors. I've heard of people with lower and higher obviously. I'm not sure about NYIT. I applied but didn't receive an interview invite, likely because I would have been OOS. I think they take around 80% from NY state.

I had a 31 MCAT.
