Do schools accept online prerequisite courses?

I need to return to school to complete 1 prerequisite course... microbio and lab. I work full time and cannot take this course in person. Will schools accept this course if I take it online?

I took Organic Chem 2 without lab online which they accepted a few years ago. I'm sure with COVID-19, things have changed and more schools have become lenient about online courses. Is the lab in person? I'd suggest emailing a few schools you are interested in directly and asking.
