Do schools get your info B4 AAMC gets your transcript??

I'm wondering if they get your preliminary info so they can send you secondaries while you're being verified. .. 🙄

They did at Iowa I know. Could be because I'm an in-stater though........

I believe they do send out your preliminary information (Name, address, etc) so schools that send secondaries to everyone will send theirs out right away. I got schools like pritzker, OSU and some others before I was verified. Although, I do believe that nothing happened while they were waiting for my transcript to arrive and my application was on hold. Schools that do screen the preliminary application won't send you anything until you're verified.
