Like if you take 3 tests, will they take the best scores out of each section? Or do they look at only one test?

no for the most part, most of them just look at your most recent scores, so if you do worse taking it the second time, then they look at the worse score.

depends on the school. Some will only consider your latest retake. Others will be more forgiving and look at the highest of the sections from retakes. And I think rare few will average all together (not too sure if this one even exists ~ heard it from unreliable source)
