DO schools with CA clincal rotations

Hi all!

I'm in the process of deciding which DO schools I want to apply to for matriculation in 2011, and was wondering if there are any schools (besides the CA ones) that have contracts with locations in CA for the clinical years.

I'm not sure if any DO schools other than the CA schools have agreements, but I do know that you can set up your own rotations there. While this requires more work/effort on your part, you can actually choose places that you are interested in for residency vs. a random place in CA that the school has an agreement with. Hopefully that makes sense.

Ohhh i see. So you can do rotations, as long as you set it up yourself.

To be more specific, each school will have a different number of rotations that you can set up on your own. Some schools you may set up all of your 4th yr. Some schools you have elective in 3rd yr. Some have selectives in 3rd yr where you can set up things yourself. You need to research each school that you've applied to or been accepted to to know their individual policies for the clinical years.
