DO Secondaries

How do secondaries work for DO schools? I have been thinking of applying to DO schools for the 2008 cycle and read somewhere that some schools ask you to print out a standardized form to give to letter writers as part of the secondary. I'm not too sure what this meant as I have all my letters in an Interfolio file already set up. Can anyone explain? Thanks.

Some schools offer a form for you to send to your recommenders in lieu of a letter, that have a list of characteristics they are to rank you on (maturity, ability to wrok w/ others etc.). It's usually optional. I didn't use them and I got into the schools that offered them. So its up to you if you want to send those out.
