do a search, there are a couple of threads posted already

There is an official essay prompt one in MD but only some here and there in DO. I like the idea of a nice list from schools as we receive them too.
Anyone up for this?
I haven't received any yet, my AACOMAS just mailed out yesterday. I'm just preparing!

What health related experiences have you had? (not really an essay but its really the only other question that is asked.)

Anyone know the essay prompts for KCOM?

KCOM

What particular qualities do you feel you can bring to KCOM?

What specific experience/exposure have you had with osteopathic medicine? How has this influenced your decision to become an osteopathic physician?

could someone please post it/them.......... :D

There is only one essay, but a big thing of "nonacademic experiences". Also, a few statements you have to sign, a form for your evaluators to fill out (form is mandatory - letters not accepted in lieu of the form), and you have to send one original and two copies of the whole shebang back via snail mail.

Essay:
Describe a personal experience or ethical challenge you have faced that has influenced the development of your character. How has this experience helped you to develop specific skills and/or abilities that are essential to becoming an osteopathic physician?

Please list and describe your experiences in the following categories. Be sure to include any high school activities. Attach additional pages if necessary. You may construct your responses on separate sheets following the format given. Attach your responses to the original form; include your name, social security number, and e-mail address at the top of each page. Enclose two copies with your secondary application. A resume will not be accepted in place of the form.
1. Paid work experiences
2. Volunteer Experience. Volunteer work is anything you have done for which you haven’t been paid from which an individual, group or organization benefited. Record experiences chronologically beginning with your high school years. Remember to include activities initiated through your workplace, a professional club or organization, an athletic team, an armed services unit or a religious institution. (Note: Shadowing experience should be listed under #3 – Extracurricular activities.)
3. Extracurricular Activities. (Sports, shadowing, clubs, offices held, professional and/or service organizations, etc.)
4. Academic Activities. Please describe any scholarships, fellowships, and/or awards you have received. Also describe research activities such as grant-funded projects, publications, or poster presentations. Where possible, give dates, college or university, and sponsoring agency, if applicable

The format for the experiences is also pretty strict. Position/Organization; Beginning Date; Ending Date; Total Hours; Duties/Responsibilities.

G'luck.

Des Moines University doesn't have an "essay prompt". Their secondary application is really simple and can be completed in less than 10 minutes. They will use your aacomas essay.
