These are from the AOA regarding percentage of DOs in different specialties from 2006. Hope this helps some of the pre-DO people.

Notice that 25% of all the active DOs in the country are still in residency & postgraduate training.

Expect the percentage of primary care vs non-primary care to shift a bit more towards the middle as those of us currently in residency declare our specialty to the AOA.

Cool. Never realized that michigan was 9 percent DO...I knew PA was up there...but anywhere in the 1 out of 10 range is pretty impressive by my standards.
