Het guys,

I'm applying for Fall admission and I just have Organic II and an Organic Lab this semester which will complete my prereqs.

The application deadline was Dec 1 and Jan 31 for my prospective schools. Would schools actually look at my grades in these 2 courses for admission purposes?

I already have a B.S. and came back to school, so I'm ready to wrap it up.

Sure they'll look at your grades. More so if you haven't received admission yet. My Michigan letter said they would revoke admission if coursework for the Spring semester wasn't the same as in semesters past.

My acceptance letters say that my true acceptance is still contingent on whether I pass my remaining prereqs w/ a C or better. I would say that they would care less about your other grades. Not sure how it works for the schools you have not been accepted to.

Wow can you imagine getting revoked for a low grade? Imagine the stress of that final exam! Do they actually have specific criteria for how low you can go to get admission revoked?

Imagine if you didn't pass them and didn't get accepted as well! That's not going to look good the next time around.

Pacific told me I simply had to get C's...thank goodness! I'm am SO done trying to get good grades in a pointless class. I never go, because I'm working 50+ hours a week, and now that my grade doesn't matter - I can float!

There are 2 types of acceptance. Unconditional and conditional acceptance. The preferred route is unconditional acceptance. This is for those who meet all the requirements. Conditional acceptance is when they offer admission with strings attached. Depending on the condition: passing the remaining classes with C's or B's, take specific classes or complete all prerequisite classes by Spring or Summer, PCAT score above XX%. Just read your acceptance letter several times with a magnifying glass. You'll know what they want from you.

With any acceptance you must follow though with your responsibility. Apply for student aid, get that immunization form and attend orientation and jump all the hoops and hurdles. I know someone who came back from vacation one week late and the school told her she could not start with her class so she was deferred for the next year. The dean orally said that but GET IT IN WRITING.
