DO taking Step 2 only

Hey guys! Im a DO who passed level 1 first attempt, but did not take step 1. I am planning on taking both level 2 and step 2. In your guys’ experience and if yall have talked to PDs, will programs see my step 2 if i havent taken step 1 and will i get screened out for not taking step 1. Just wanted to get your insight! Thanks!

There will be some programs that will filter you out based on Step 1 Pass, and to what extent would depend on the specialty.

Finally! I’ve felt like I’ve been taking crazy pills listening to DO students say it’s not a big deal. Over half of FM programs want it ffs!

Every DO student needs to shove this in their school admins faces whenever they tell them not to bother with Step 1.
