to be a teacher assistant in our school, student can get a recommedation, but i don't koow if the professor know me well, and i think he doesn't even know how i did in my academic class because he only teaches us how to solve some questions on the test and then he let us to help some students who have those problems. also to be a ta, is helpful to get into dental school or make you have higher competive than other students who are not TA? or just make your applcation looks good?

I think being a TA shows responsibility and would be counted as almost an extracurricular activity/ work experience. I don't think students are disadvantaged for not being a TA., or dental schools will view them any differently. I've been a TA for 3 classes now for 3 different professors. If you would like the professor to write you a LOR, I think you need to make him know you- talk to him about your school work, talk to him about your future goals, make him aware of your situation. And if you do decide to ask him to write you a LOR, send him a resume/ print out your transcript and talk about it with him. Communication will make your LOR have more substance and less fluff.
Its a great experience and I like it for the most part😉
good luck
🙂
