Do Temple and Philadelphia require recommendations?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I believe Temple does require recommendations, there is no form to fill out. It is a standardard letter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is a maximum of 3 letters.

temple require 3 recommendations. it has to be directly mailed from the person who is recommending you or you can include it with the application with the recommendor's signature across the envelope seal.

anyone know about philadelphia?

if i remember correctly, i think it is same way but dont quote me on that. but however, good luck getting into USP as a tranfer.

why is it much easier to get into Temple over Philly? Thanks!!

USP has 6 year program which they select the students right from high school. so seats are very limited for transfers. seats open up as people gets dropped from program. and the requirement they have to meet is a lot less than the GPA you need to get into pharmacy school. but for temple, everyone is applying as transfer. so you are fighting for 150 seats rather than 1 or 2 seats that USP might have available for transfer. it is pretty much same story for any school who has 6 year program. I hope we get rid of that soon so we can have better applicant pool. better application pool = better graduates = better pharmacist (in most most general way)
