Long story short, had a 3.2 GPA in undergrad. Signed up for an informal postbac but had to move for a job. A bureaucratic mix-up led to me showing up late to drop Bio I, Chem I and Phys I a week after the deadline. I wasn't going back to school, so I didn't fight it. Got three Fs.
Five years later, I've gotten As in those three classes as well as other pre-reqs. Will the SMPs at the D.O. schools just calculate the retakes in my GPA? Obviously, I'll have to answer for that semester in the interview if I receive one regardless.
Until about a week ago, I was resigned to just going to the Caribbean without giving D.O. schools a shot, but now I'm ready to add a year or two to the process in hopes of staying domestic.
